Overview
Nico Robin (EB05-010) is a Green/Yellow leader from the Extra Booster EB05 (One Piece Heroines Edition Vol.2). In the current post-banlist meta, Robin holds a 2.2% meta share (19 of 855 tracked players) with a 54.3% paper win rate (44-37-4 non-mirror) and a 52.0% ladder win rate (875-808 on optcg.one). The number that matters most: Robin beats Rocks.D.Xebec at 64% — the best win rate against the #1 meta deck among all leaders with meaningful sample sizes. For tournament players targeting Xebec-heavy fields, Robin is the clearest anti-meta choice available.
Nico Robin is the archaeologist of the Straw Hat crew, survivor of the Ohara genocide, and eventual leader of the EB05 Women's Alliance archetype. Her EB05-010 card is Green/Yellow — an unusual dual-color combination — and her leader ability generates incremental value each time a Women's Alliance or Ohara-affiliated character enters play. The deck's character base draws from the EB05 set's heroines roster (Nami, Gloriosa, Nojiko, Nico Olvia, Atlas) plus cross-set support in Charlotte Pudding (OP17-109), Lilith (OP13-113), and Shanks (OP17-022) for mid-game threats.
How Robin wins
Nico Robin (EB05-010) is a 5-Life Green/Yellow leader. Her core passive rewards playing Women's Alliance characters with a consistent on-play effect that either draws a card or looks at the top of the deck, depending on the trigger. The practical result: Robin generates card advantage every turn that an EB05 Heroine enters the field, which means the deck never runs out of action against aggressive strategies like Xebec.
The matchup advantage against Xebec (OP17-039) comes from card density. Xebec's Banish mechanic removes cards from the bottom of your life rather than discarding from hand — Robin's draw-heavy engine refills hand faster than Xebec can deplete resources. At 64% in 12 tracked matches, Robin is statistically the most reliable Xebec check in the current format.
The Women's Alliance engine runs through Nami (EB05-055, $5.32) as the draw anchor and Gloriosa (EB05-052, $6.44) as the defensive pivot. Gloriosa provides a blocker body with on-play value. Nico Olvia (EB05-056) is the low-cost setup piece — she tutors from the top of the deck and replaces herself. Nojiko (EB05-057) provides +1000 counter value at minimal cost. Atlas (EB05-050) and Lilith (OP13-113) are the Vegapunk satellite package, adding a Blue-adjacent disruption angle within the Green/Yellow shell. Megalo (EB04-018) — the shark that carries Nami — appears as the mid-game presence piece, typically a large body that forces opponent resources.
Charlotte Pudding (OP17-109, $2.32) is the cross-set glue. Her On Play trigger provides a scry effect that sets up the Women's Alliance chain, and she counts as both a Big Mom and Women's Alliance affiliate for trigger purposes. Shanks (OP17-022, $3.34) handles the high-cost threat slot — once Robin's engine has drawn through the deck, Shanks becomes the finisher that closes games the draw engine has stabilized.

Counts from 19 canonical decklists. Market prices from TCGplayer via TCGCSV, updated daily. The largest single cost is Gloriosa (EB05-052) at $6.44 per copy — a full playset of four runs approximately $26. All other named cards are under $6 per copy. Typical competitive Robin list: approximately $313 at current market.
Matchup context
Robin's 54.3% paper win rate sits above the 50% baseline, but the headline number is the 64% win rate vs Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-039 (7-4-1, 12 matches). Xebec is the #1 meta deck at 16.6% play rate. If you are registering for a tournament with a heavy Xebec field, Robin is the highest-WR Xebec counter in the tracked data.
- vs Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-039 (16.6% meta): Robin's draw engine out-cards Xebec's Banish clock. Xebec removes life from the bottom, but Robin replenishes hand faster than Xebec can deplete resources. The Women's Alliance chain generates a card-advantage gap by turn 5 that Xebec's aggressive plan cannot overcome without a perfect opener. 64% win rate, 12 matches.
- vs Buggy OP09-042 (6.2% meta): Robin's worst matchup. Buggy's Blue control package — Counter Cards and On Play triggers — interrupts the Women's Alliance chain at the exact point Robin needs to generate advantage. Robin goes 30% (3-7, 10 matches). If your local meta has Buggy, consider a sideboard-style plan or pivot to a different pick.
- vs Enel OP05-098 (6.4% meta): Similarly difficult. Enel's Yellow DON!! punishment punishes Green/Yellow's split-color hand requirements. Robin goes 33% (3-6-1, 10 matches). The Yellow half of Robin's card requirements creates vulnerability to Enel's life-gain-and-attack engine.
- vs Luffy & Ace ST30-001 (7.3% meta): Even at 50% (3-3, 6 matches). Robin's draw speed matches Luffy/Ace's combo setup tempo — neither deck has a structural edge.
- vs Sabo OP13-004 (7.3% meta): Slight Robin edge. Sabo's fire disruption can interrupt the Women's Alliance chain, but Robin's card density recovers faster than Sabo's setup can punish.

Is Robin worth building?
At a typical list price of approximately $313, Robin is a mid-range investment — cheaper than top-tier decks like Xebec or Luffy/Ace but higher than budget picks like Mihawk. The key value proposition: if Xebec-heavy fields are your target, no other leader in the current data beats Xebec as reliably at 64%. Robin is a narrow metagame call rather than an all-around pick, but in a Xebec-dominant tournament, that call pays off.
The Women's Alliance engine from EB05 is the deck's core, and EB05 cards are currently affordable — Gloriosa, Nami, Nico Robin (EB05-016) all sit under $7 per copy. The main cost outlier is finding the foil or alternate-art versions; the standard EB05-010 Nico Robin leader is $0.15. For players who already own Charlotte Pudding (OP17-109) and Shanks (OP17-022) from other Green/Yellow builds, the incremental cost is primarily the EB05 set pieces.
